In the first part of this blog post, we will see how to install Remote Desktop Services in WS2019. There are two option to carry out deployment. Of which, we will go about how to deploy RDS using Quick start.
In the following step, there is an option to choose whether we want to go with a. Role based or feature based installation or b. Remote Desktop Services Installation. We want to go with option b.
Select Quick Start.
Quick install allows deployment of Remote Desktop Services on one server and creates a collection and publishes RemoteApp programs.
Click on Deploy so the role services will be deployed.
In this manner we were able to complete Remote Desktop Services installation. In the next blog post we will see how we can configure RDS licensing in Windows Server 2019.
