With overwhelming response and participation by college students in Windows 8 Utsav that has been organized around colleges in Kathmandu Valley starting last week, the no. of students participating in the Utsav has already crossed 1,000 mark. Thanks to Microsoft Student Partners from Thames International college at Battisputali:
Rashoj Raj Onta and Sangita Paudel who made sure that their 100+ college mates attend the Utsav and get hands on with the latest version of Windows 8 Operating system. Windows 8, Microsoft’s one of the major software product is going to be released worldwide in Oct 26, 2012 after nearly two years of earlier release of Windows 7 Operating system.
Microsoft Students Partners Alpana Rai & Suraj KC from Everest Engineering & Management College at Sita Paila also organized the Windows 8 Utsav yesterday with over 85 students participating the Windows 8 session. Students were really excited to know about Microsoft’s newer version of Operating system. There were a lots of queries and questions from the enthusiastic participants and it was exciting to address them with relevant answers and solutions.
And, today we saw a whopping 700+ students attending Windows 8 Utsav at Little Angel’s College of Management in Hattiban, Lalitpur. Microsoft Student Partners Dipika Joshi, Julia Aryal and Bibek Shrestha with backsupport from their IT club were able to organize and manage such a big event successfully. Kudos to their hard work!
Participating students not only learned the new features of Windows 8 at the event but also were excited to receive freebees like Books on Career ideas by Microsoft and Windows Server 2008 R2, and Windows 8 bootable thumb drives.
