If you are planning to applying (or you’ve signed up already) for Microsoft Imagine Cup 2023- the world’s biggest software competition, Microsoft Tech Community in Nepal is here to facilitate you. You don’t have a team or don’t have an idea or right mentor? Don’t worry we have you covered. We are organizing an IDEATHON for all those of you interested to participate in Imagine Cup.

Ideathon is a bootcamp where you will have a chance to find mentors, team, people with similar mindset as you and can learn idea brainstorming along with other amazing workshops by experts from industry. You will have a chance to create your own team, share ideas and select a mentor of your choice. These teams with the guidance of mentor can now participate in Imagine Cup.

• Global competition for students aged 16+
• You’re welcome to imagine any solution that you’re passionate about, but must include a Microsoft Azure component and take into consideration diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.
• Maximum four (4) members per team

Update after the event!

We received an overwhelming response in terms of registration which forced us to close registration due to limited seats. We were thrilled to have 130+ attendees from 65+ academic institutions, as well as 15+ speakers and mentors, join us at the venue to learn about what it takes to bring Imagine Cup to Nepal.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone in Microsoft Tech Communities, including Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors (MLSA) and Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs), as well as the Girls In Tech Nepal, Adex International, the CSIT Association Of Nepal (CSITAN), TechPana, and ICT Frame for your support. Additionally, we are grateful to all the mentors who generously shared their time and expertise. Without all of you, the event would not have been a success.
