I was installing SQL Server 2016 CTP on a VM, and on the Feature Rules page of SQL Server setup, I found the following rule failed. Rule “Oracle JRE 7 Update 51 (64-Bit) or higher is required” failed.

There’s a cool speed test tool for Azure at http://azurespeed.com which allows you to test network latencies and speed to Azure data centers from different countries and locations. Along with finding the closest Datacenter near your location, it tests the storage latency to Azure as well as upload and download speeds. This is a third party tool with open source on GitHub.

Here I passed yet another Microsoft Certification exam on 74-409: Server Virtualization with Hyper-V and System Center. Candidates for this exam are IT professionals who are responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining a virtualization infrastructure and/or who are interested in validating their skills on current Microsoft virtualization technologies.
Passing the exam means you are now Microsoft Certified Specialist in Server Virtualization with Hyper-V and System Center technologies.
